As the ancient proverb goes, “Brunch is just like heaven, somewhere between breakfast and lunch.” And at Trece Mexican Kitchen and Tequila Lounge, the servers might as well have wings and halos.
As soon as you sit down, you’re treated to a decadent assortment of carbs. Glorious, cinnamony carbs. (And savory ones, too!)
But don’t fill up on the freebies because here comes the waiter wheeling a cart that Nana only wished they had at Luby’s every Sunday. Behold the tableside Bloody Mary trolley! Clang, clang, clang these are some mighty fine cocktails. Choose from top-shelf vodka or tequila for a south-of-the-rehab-clinic twist. Or imbibe on a bottomless mimosa, available in a variety of fresh fruit flavors.
Now, if your idea of brunch involves food, too, the chile relleno stuffed with seafood is fast becoming famous. And the tenderloin chilaquiles platter is enough to serve a family of eight, but you’ve got a lot of booze to absorb, muchachos, so eat it all yourself.
And lest we forget, Trece has what could easily be the best patio in town, so come worship with us this Sunday at the altar of earthly Mexican delights.
Brunch served Saturday and Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
4513 Travis Street, Dallas
