It’s not even January and you are already cursing that pesky resolution (restraining order?) to keep 10-feet away from anything deep-fried, deliciously fatty or coated in chocolate. Enter Fish Express, the casual-dining love child from the owners of the swanky Go Fish restaurant.
Despite the name, there are actually chicken and turkey options on the menu in addition to all sorts of things from the sea served up on salads, wraps and in Po-Boys. For those trying to avoid a recurring role in Biggest Loser 2008, just look for the red crosses on the menu indicating heart healthy items certified by Medical City Heart (nothing says subtle reminder like a giant red cross directing you to what to eat).
According to their slogan, “Seafood is Brain Food.” With this in mind we have taken the liberty of mailing the Fish Express Signature Seafood Burger to those we thought needed all the help they could get. And yes, Ms. South Carolina Teen USA was first on the list. Check the mailbox.
