Gay Bingo is doing weddings, Turtle Creek Chorale has gone all Andrews Sisters and Lambda Legal is kickin’ it at Eddie Deen’s (How Brokeback!). Or if you prefer attire that’s a little more “Ren Fair,” check out Spamalot in Fort Worth or a screening of Harry Potter in Victory Park.

Lambda Legal is throwing a party to note the five-year anniversary of civil rights victory Lawrence v Texas, which our reliable friend Wikipedia reminds us is the landmark United States Supreme Court case that struck down the “booty sex” law that had criminalized homosexual sex in Texas. The fete includes a BBQ buffet, a performance by the Dallas Tap Dazzlers, line-dancing demos from the folks at the Round Up and remarks from guest speaker, Co-Counsel and the attorney who won the case, Paul M. Smith.
