You know those old Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup commercials where somebody’s yellin’ that somebody else got her peanut butter on his chocolate? That’s kind of how we feel about tomorrow night’s “Conversations with Coco” with special guest Karen Black. Because it’s two of our favorite things in one delicious bite place at the same time!
Our favorite Karen Black movie of all time is Airport 75 because we loves us a good disaster movie. And we loves us a trailer that gives away the entire plot even more because it saves us money.
And while we’re on the subject of movies, the greatest Coco Peru movie of all time has got to be the high-larious Girls Will Be Girls. Well, that and Schindler’s List.
Tonight, we recommend Paranormal Activity 2 for a little scary pre-Halloween fright (yes, it really is creepier than the first). Then tomorrow night for a show that’s so hilarious it’s scary, catch Miss Coco Peru live on stage chatting, singing and telling jokes alongside Karen Black. We haven’t witnessed two divas fighting so hard for our affection since this.
The main reason we love Miss Coco so much is because she’s the real deal – a triple-threat as Debbie Allen loves to say. She can dance, she can act, and damn, that bitch can sing!
So scratch together some money and see one of Hollywood’s legendary entertainers before she dies of old age and alcohol poisoning. Oh, and Karen Black, too.
