St. Valentine’s Day creates an interesting conundrum for the gays. Do you go all straight and cheesy with carnations and chocolate hearts? Or full-on flaming with Fleshlights and lube?
We suggest neither.
Instead of blowing money on something that will be forgotten by February 15 (hope you saved the receipt for that 8-foot-tall teddy bear. Seriously.), treat him to a night he’ll never forget.

We just stayed there overnight and we never wanted to leave. (Sadly, housekeeping found us hiding under the bed and called security.)

Check in early afternoon and hit the spa for a relaxing couple’s massage. Or pay just $25 per person for access to fantastic amenities like the Healing Waters hot tub, steam room, sauna and the “Experience” shower. All of the above includes complimentary wine or Champagne while you lounge.
Then head downstairs at 6:00 p.m. for margarita samples and fresh-made avocado dip from a certified Guacamologist. Seriously.
That’ll tide you over until you change clothes and dine on a special Valentine’s menu at Fearing’s. After that, the night is yours.
So why not have the hotel Bentley take you somewhere within a 3-mile radius?
Hint: The Tin Room is exactly 2.6 miles from the Ritz-Carlton. Just don’t let the strippers see you roll up in a Bentley, or pull out that first dollar bill and you’ll be like an old lady at the park with one piece of bread being attacked by pigeons.
Call the car to pick you up and retire to your indescribably comfortable bed with the curtains open to view the nighttime skyline while participating in intimate activities.
You know, like playing Scrabble.
