Truth in advertising is very important to us.
Especially after we fell for that vacuum cleaner attachment that was supposed to increase the size of a certain something when used for only five minutes a day. Nothing ever got bigger, but you’d be amazed how many dust bunnies lurk where you least suspect them.
Now we’re a tad bit more cautious with online purchases.
Thankfully, a fun new underwear brand called HIPSTRIPES is out to help potential suitors take the guesswork out of what to expect when and if those briefs finally slip around your ankles. That’s because each pair is emblazoned with a message on the waistband in a design resembling caution tape.
Truth in advertising just got sexy.
Available phrases for the men’s boxer briefs include: Wide Load; Caution Explosives; Heavy Equipment; and Objects Are Bigger Than They Appear. They’re also available in stripes with no message, but what’s the fun in that?
The cut is a little longer than we normally wear, but the 95% cotton/5% spandex blend is form-fitting and comfortable at the same time. However, we still hope they launch some skimpier men’s versions soon.
Even though the smaller the underwear is, the less important it becomes to caution against Protruding Objects. That, hopefully, should be self-explanatory.
Want to win a pair? Fill out the form on our Giveaways page online and send us your waist size, favorite phrase and whether you want men’s or women’s. Note: Women’s have different sayings. Entry must be received by Wednesday (tomorrow) at 11:59 p.m.
