Choc It Up To Great Taste
Say “Yes!” to NOKA
Mmmmmm….dark chocolate.
This is the point where we would typically make a morally depraved comment about putting something creamy on our tongues, but we’re proud to say that we’ve been rehabilitated. Thanks to 28 days at the Paul Lynde Behavioral Addiction Clinic for Sexual Innuendo and Double Entendre (or BACSIDE for short), we no longer have the urge to fill our whole Web site with long, thick bundles of words that thrust a joke in readers’ faces again. And again. And again.
No, we’re ready to jump back on top and if we’re really lucky, wrap our hands around a great big trophy for “Excellence in Journalism” or something equally tantalizing. From this day forward, Gay List Daily is officially Rated G.
So, back to the main topic. If you’ve yet to experience NOKA chocolates, then you haven’t tasted the most complex, satisfying chocolate flavor this side of climbing a cacao tree and sucking the essence straight from the cocoa pod.
Each chocolate and handcrafted truffle from NOKA is sourced from a single cacao estate, meaning that each of the four varieties (Vivienté from Venezuela, Carmeñago from Ecaudor, Bambarra from Cote d’lvoire, or Tamborina from Trinidad) has a unique combination of flavors, even though they’re pure chocolate and fresh organic cream. (Just like that Chardonnay you drink that tastes like apples and pears, yet is made entirely of grapes. Same concept.)
The best way to experience NOKA chocolates and truffles is to get one of each variety and do a complete tasting in order as recommended by NOKA. You’ll be amazed at the subtle (and not-so-subtle) flavors that appear with each decadent bite.
In fact, the last time we had something this rich in our mouths was in the back of Elton John’s tour bus. [sigh] Another relapse.
