Feeding the masses with (almost) free sushi

Fresh fish and a land-locked city don’t necessarily go hand in hand. So it’s no wonder that word spreads quickly when sushi lovers find a raw, sweet spot.

But as any rare-tuna taster can tell you, sometimes a delicious sushi dinner comes with a price just short of taking an early withdrawal from your 401k.

Fortunately for you (and those Sacagaweas burning a hole in your pocket), Oishii Sushi & Pan Asian Cuisine offers one-dollar sushi night every Tuesday from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Yep, that’s right, you can cram some Snapper in your snapper for the same price you usually pay to cram your hand in a go-go dancer’s g-string. Talk about a value menu!

And the dollar menu isn’t just limited to yesterday’s catch of the day or the scary sushi with eyes, tails and eggs. There are actually about a dozen options that will have you saying Holy Mackerel including: Tuna, Salmon, Octopus, Squid and Shrimp.

Gluttons be warned though, there’s a limit of six pieces per type of sushi.

Who knew eating out on a Tuesday night could be accomplished for the change in your sofa? Just be prepared for a full house, as dollar-sushi night seems to get everyone off their yellow tails and outta the house.
