Eats.com covers restaurants in more than 125 cities, so it’s perfect for nailing down a great sushi spot on your trip to Miami, but you’ll be thrilled to know that you can search nearly 1,800 hot spots in Dallas alone. Or add your own. The choices are broken down by neighborhood (like Kessler Park, Oak Lawn, East Dallas), type of cuisine (Filipino, Organic, Irish Pub) or popular feature (24 hours, pet-friendly, outdoor seating).

What makes the site so addictive is that you control the content. It’s a virtual community where people can chat about restaurants with other users, post their own reviews, and upload photos of their favorite dishes.
