If you still haven’t purchased your tickets to A Very Special Holiday Special featuring the Turtle Creek Chorale (and special guests Metropolitan Winds and Dallas PUMP!), you’re probably the same procrastinating type we see running through NorthPark Center like a crazy person at 5:45 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

It’s time for an intervention. Seriously.

Buying your tickets today for one of this weekend’s four performances at the AT&T Performing Arts Center Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House is your first step to recovery.

Great seats are still available, meaning that for once waiting until the last minute hasn’t left you with the dregs. (We all remember last year when you gave everyone Chia Herb Gardens shaped like President Obama because that’s all that was left at Walgreen’s on your way to visit the in-laws).

And this year’s show promises to be one of the best in a long line of hard-to-top TCC holiday extravaganzas. One part Wizard of Oz-themed musical, one part traditional holiday carolpalooza, there’s something for the kid in all of us. Or the Scrooge that needs to be enlightened. Or the reindeer that needs to capitalize on his glowing schnoz. Or the bald kid with the pathetic tree.
