Out & About Tours debuts

It’s no secret that we get around.

As far as touring gay LA goes, we’ve beaten the path between Abbey and Fubar and Rockwell and Shits n Giggles so often we could navigate it even when stumbling drunk (as you may have witnessed in a few YouTube videos).

We’re so busy priding ourselves on the nightclub of the moment that we easily turn our backs on the past. Rolling us over so that we can take it all in are new weekend tours of the very gay LA from Out & About.

Taking off from One Archives in West Hollywood every Saturday and Sunday, the latest red Double Decker bus to join the bustling streets of Tinseltown offers up our kind of tour – one that includes cocktails.

Of course there’s also the uncovering of LGBT history, dusting off of the famously closeted, stops at current underground as well as mainstream gay points of interest, and a well-researched tour guide to keep our demanding attention served well.

But largely, it’s the sense of community felt both onboard amongst fellow passenqueers as well as uncovered in a city we often take for granted that leaves a lingering feeling…well, that and the hangover we experienced the day following the wild Out & About after-party (included in every tour!).

$75 per ticket (includes two drinks, alcoholic or non-alcoholic)
