Sex, Pecs and Rock ‘n Revolver
LA’s Mogul releases a dramatic home collection in time for the holidays.
A recent advertisement from Mogul really spoke to us. In it, an Adonis lay invitingly on a leather-covered bed. The model (our future boyfriend, may we add) was possessed of the same intensity and rugged charm found in the headboard supporting him. Through Mogul, we realized that we prefer our furnishing like we prefer our men: seductive, dark and bold.
The same characteristics describe Mogul’s latest endeavor, the Rock ‘n Revolver collection.
Owners (and real-life partners) Thomas Piscitello and Neal Wagner are honest about the collection’s fashionable influences. When we visited the Melrose shop, the puissance of designers such as Tom Ford and Coco Chanel resonated throughout the new collection’s distressed leather and gun-metal accents. Considering the duo’s sources of inspiration and the mischievous, tangible outcome, it’s no wonder why their Rock ‘n Roll furnishings collection is a hit with affluent gays.
Yeah, most of the pieces are dramatic statements, and not all gays are drama queens.
As your daily source of fab finds, it is part of our professional duty to wear the drama queen badge with pride.
And Mogul is supporting the drama wholeheartedly.
Okay, we have a couple more rungs of the ladder to climb before we can deck our home with the collection (we have yet to discover the “casting couch” of the trend-spotting business), but we’re working on it.
And if one of our late night “dates” led us into a Rock ‘n Revolver decorated bedroom, we’d be extra excited. Is being turned-on by chairs and headboards weird?
