Mobile tanning delivers an eco-friendly, sun kissed look to your door

Daytime is experiencing some shrinkage. We thoroughly took advantage of the long, hot summer hours before the sun’s rays went all soft on us. Now that we know about Spray ‘de Sole (an LA-based mobile spray tanning team) we’ve moved on from our dysfunctional summer fling to something surer and safer.

Owner and founder Svetlana Feller, along with co-owner Jade Dearing, have been spraying sun kissed glows only for a short time now, but the trend is booming. We love when cute strangers pop tents in our living room, so we can understand the appeal.

The entire process only takes thirty minutes and the glow is immediately noticeable. The girls (no male sprayers yet, but that’s probably a good thing) bring all the equipment they need, take over a small area of your home, and lay it on you evenly.

While Jade was helping us achieve a realistic tone, she explained that Spray ‘de Sole loves to party. What a coincidence, so do we!

The company offers bridal shower tanning parties, and given the amount of homos rushing off to tie the knot before voting day (remember to spread the word and vote NO on Proposition 8!), she said they would do gay bachelor parties as well.

Even better, if you’d rather be betrothed to a cocktail, the duo offers martini tanning parties. We nearly fainted in the living-room tent after hearing this, but Jade kept our organic spray tan under control.

The company also provides a house brand of all-natural tan extenders and moisturizes. The products match the environmental-friendly make-up of the tanning mist itself, which, as Jade pointed out, wouldn’t stain our carpet or upholstery.

If only our other tent-popping living room encounters would end so immaculately.
