There ain’t nothing wrong with a little Grindr

If Loopt and Manhunt were to have a lovechild, Grindr would be the slutty, jailbait offspring.

We covered Loopt a while back, and though we’ve resourcefully turned it into a tool for local tricking, the application’s primary mission is to keep friends connected. Where Loopt is timid, Grindr is forward, cutting through the b.s. and giving iPhags what they really want: dirty location-based chatting.

The profiles created with the tool are simple, intended to let users get down to business quickly. While there are no entry areas for the intimate details we enjoy on computer-based trolling sites, Grindr allows a short headline, which is where most of the homos cruising in our naughty neighborhood tend to reveal the good stuff.

The service is still new, so if you’re outside the fruit loop of a large metropolis, the pickings might be slim, or chubby, depending on what you’re craving at the moment.

If you’re in the center of a homo-hood, be prepared for dozens of able-bodied studs to pop-up on your touch screens, each with information relating their approximate distance from your current location.

If you’re not willing to go the distance for the first dozen-or-so possibilities, the “load more guys” button at the bottom will refresh the screen with even more lusty locals.

Finally, technology has made hooking up as easy we are.
