Depeche Ode

Just Can’t Get Enough

A long time ago, in an economy far, far away, we wore Girbaud jeans with fag-tags and had endless debates with our trusty Gal Pal about whether Morrisey would take on a Mr. or a Mrs. Smiths when he gave up his mysterious vow of celibacy.

How did she not know we were gay? Talk about Girlfriend in a Coma!

Being a closeted gay boy in a world of adolescent breeders wasn’t easy. We were Hungry Like The Wolf for the faintest connection to a gay world that seemed equally terrifying and unattainable. Although we found solace in New Wave, we really yearned for some sexy Strangelove. Or even a hand job.

These days we’re busy puttin’ a ring on the single ladies, but we still reminisce about our MTV days, long before we had any idea whether we’d prefer to be topped by a Master or Servant.

Whether you’re from Generation X, Y or (God forbid) Z, chances are you’ve grown up with (or come out to, or broken up during) a Depeche Mode song.

Tickets for Depeche Mode’s latest Tour of the Universe go on sale aujourd'hui! And that ain’t no Blasphemous Rumor! However it’s just a Question of Time before tickets sell out, so dépêche-toi! Get Behind the Wheel and hurry over to Ticketmaster or MSG to get some decent seats.

Remember, People Are People, and the grabbing hands grab all they can, so every second counts, in large amounts. Don’t make us sing Told You So
