New York Story
Falling in (and out of) love again…
L.A. story is about a weatherman in a meaningless relationship who talks to a Freeway sign. It goes to figure that New York Story would be a bit more complicated.
Perhaps something along the lines of a blond foreigner who falls for a hipster musician, who in turn marries a lesbian so he can stay in the country. Everything is harder in New York City!
Casper Andreas’ latest film “Between Love & Goodbye” has two lithe young lads rolling in the gay until heady romance faces off with the return of Kyle’s transsexual sister April.
What melting pot would be complete with a homeless, transsexual ex-hooker sister?
And April is on a mission. She’s a survivor, promising to outwit, outplay and outlast – until Marcel is voted off the island. Who doesn’t love a good gay drama? We’ve all visited the wicked world between love and goodbye, but it’s so much more entertaining when we can watch it with popcorn.
Pre-order it now on DVD – and find out. What will they do to stay on the island? It all boils down to the quintessential NYC question: how far would you go for a rental lease?
It’s a hell of a lot more interesting than talking to a freeway sign.
